Conference Proposal Submission

Guidelines for Submitting a Proposal
to be a Conference Presenter at the

Joint Women's Studies & LGBTQ Conference
April 3-4, 2009

Please send your proposal by the October 20, 2008 deadline.
The Conference Planning Committee will be evaluating proposals immediately following the
deadline and decisions will be communicated in early January 2009.

Please use this on-line submission form if possible.
If you are not able to use the on-line form, you may
download this proposal form as a Word doc and
return it as an e-mail attachment to acss@uwsa.edu.

You may submit more than one proposal for a conference panel/workshop/presentation,
but you must submit a complete copy of this form for each proposal.

Sessions will be organized for all day Friday (April 3) and Saturday (April 4).

  All workshop sessions will be 60 or 75 minutes in length. Please select whether your proposal is for an entire session or should be put with other proposals to make up a session. We particularly encourage panels which represent a diversity of experiences, perspectives, interdisciplinary, or intergenerational approaches to topics.

Conference presenters are asked to pay the conference registration fee which (including lunches and Saturday evening meal) is expected to be approximately $100 for the conference, $60/day).
